Nuclear cloud hits Zurich!

Greenpeace

The Zoning Plan

The objective of this Greenpeace campaign was to encourage people to vote against the construction of future nuclear power plants in Switzerland by revealing the real risks associated with

nuclear energy. After an initial series of posters, the campaign entered phase two – a nationwide stunt. On May 25, 2010, hundreds of people all across Switzerland spontaneously fell to the ground

at pre-aranged times in

order to simulate just how fast the cloud from a nuclear reactor leak would travel. The video footage collected from the day’s event was then quickly compiled into a viral film called

“The Zoning Plan, and uploaded onto the web. Viewers were then directed to a fact-based website encouraging them to become actively involved.
