The Zoning Plan

The objective of this campaign was to reveal facts about the risks associated with nuclear energy. The aim was to encourage people to vote against more nuclear power plants being built in Switzerland in the future. The campaign launched with a series of posters all across the country. Next, we attracted people’s attention with a nationwide stunt. On May 25, 2010, hundreds of people all over Switzerland fell to the ground at different times,

making visible the speed of a nuclear cloud spreading. This disruptive situation was used to hand out “The Zoning Pass.” The pass was also mailed to selected politicians and people living within the designated danger zones. On the evening of May 25th, all the footage collected from that day’s event was compiled into a viral video called “The Zoning Plan,” which led people to a fact-based website.
