The Socialist Party (SP), founded in 1888, is one of four main political parties in Switzerland. After 20 years with the same logo, the SP wanted a new design and CD to represent its contemporary spirit, but without losing its heritage. Elements of the Swiss national flag, the rose and the cobblestone were utilised. Another task for Walker was to unify the three previous logo elements, whereby every language region in Switzerland had its own SP logo. The simple message ‘Yes’ reflects the party’s forward-thinking attitude and always accompanies the new logo. The word appears in all three Swiss languages (Ja/Oui/Si).
