Private Swiss bank, Hyposwiss
needed to recruit staff. Not just any staff, but the right kind of staff. Potential applicants needed to fit in with the bank’s down-to-earth attitude and solid values. So, unlike most job advertisements for the banking sector, walker took another route. They created a series of classified ads in Switzerland’s most widely read weekend
recruitment sections that appealed directly to the type of person who believes that banking is all about private jets, grabbing a piece of the pie and a possessing a get rich quick mentality. Those applicants taken in by the talk of jets and big bonuses were, alas, disappointed to discover that Hyposwiss wasn’t the bank for them.
